Time & Space is a result of Bill’s extensive experience and research.
Bill has more than 30 years experience in ‘people program’ innovation and design, and almost 20 years experience developing and presenting intergenerational programs for young people and their parents or mentors.
In 2006, Bill saw the need for schools to offer programs for parents and their kids that celebrated and understood important transitions. He founded Time & Space, and he has now presented more than 400 programs and seminars across Australia and around the world.
Bill’s work is backed by a combination of research and education sector experience. He has an MA in Education, and his thesis, which outlined the positive impacts on boys of Time & Space programs, was published in the prestigious US education journal Thymos: Journal of Boyhood Studies.
He has also held senior leadership roles at Xavier College (1996–2001) and Parade College (2002–2008). But Bill shares his most important credentials with those in his audiences: he is married, and a dad to an adult daughter and a teenage son. Time & Space programs are founded on research and experience, but they’re also the result of Bill’s own joys and frustrations as a parent.
