We all have things we want to achieve in life, but how do we get results? What are the practices that lead to the changes we want to see in ourselves?
There are hundreds of goal-setting programs around, but Time & Space in Practice is different: adults mentor young people through the program, but young people also mentor adults (not their parents or guardians) with whom they’re partnered.
And the results are exciting. Because young people are invested with the responsibility to make adults accountable, they are more likely to enthusiastically strive for their own ambitions.
Time & Space in Practice is a 12-week program in which adults and young people give each other weekly one-on-one encouragement to stick at what they’re trying to achieve – whether those aspirations are work- or school-based, sporting or spiritual. In addition, the entire cohort signed up for the program meets regularly to share stories and cheer each other along.
Time & Space in Practice is a perfect follow-up to other Time & Space offerings, but can easily run as a stand-alone program. It suits both genders and is a proven approach to improving young people’s – and adults’ – motivation and self-development. In fact, many people find they have achieved their goals before the 12-week mark – and have to set some more!
