Signature Programs
Time & Space present a variety of parent–child programs in secondary schools.
Key Features of our Signature Programs
Time & Space programs provide a wonderful opportunity to strengthen connections between family members and within the school community.
A structured program is presented throughout each Time & Space event. Highly trained facilitators guide parents and their adolescent children to hold significant conversations with each other and with members of the school community. As the program progresses, participants become more relaxed and comfortable about these conversations, some of which, may be life changing. The program is quite simple and at the same time very powerful. The feedback from parents, students and school leaders has been overwhelmingly positive.
Time & Space recognises that families come in all shapes and sizes and where a parent cannot attend, a mentor such as a grandparent, uncle, aunt, trusted family friend or adult older sibling is always welcome.
Most schools choose to run our programs at years 7 and 8. Time & Space will tailor programs to suit the needs of each school community. Time & Space signature events run for approximately two hours.
Time & Space is not a lecture or guest speaker event; it is a carefully designed and supported, engaging community event. Time & Space facilitators are skilled communicators who provide a valuable experience for the student and parent community.
All program materials including flyers are provided and schools are given a detailed preparation plan well in advance of the event.
